Melatonin – Thoughts Anyone?

Being the non-sleeper that I am, from time to time I rely on sleep aids to get my night started – some OTC, some prescribed.  The prescribed meds get me to sleep quickly enough but don't do such a good job at keeping me there.  With the OTC products, I started waking up with headaches so I gave those up.  Someone suggested Melatonin.  I took it last night and within 30 mins I was asleep on the couch.  On a side note, I was completely exhausted so I'm not sure if it was a result of the new 'drugs' or just good old fashioned fatigue.  I've read quite a bit about it, but would like to hear from anyone that's had exposure to this supplement.  Anyone?

It worked! I slept last night – granted it was the sleep of a fussy baby, but I slept nonetheless…

For long flights across an ocean, when you know your going to arrive jet-lagged, your going to have to work when you arrive, and you gotta sleep, all the guys I know rely on Excedrin PM. It works.

It’s working out very well! Instead of the prescribed one I take two and I stay alseep through most of the night. I’m quite pleased. Now I’m coming down with my once-a-year cold. Throat is raw, sinuses are painful…any suggestions?

Tylenol Cold & Flu Severe. It’s an odd, ice-blue color, but it got me through a horrible cold in January when even Nyquil was insufficient.

Always laughed at “slept like a baby”. Up every three hours hungry and crying.
