Baltimore had its first thunderstorm of the season this evening. We were actually under a tornado warning for quite awhile tonight. It was a wonderful experience. Aside from the thunder and lightning, the second best thing was seeing the neighborhood kids scurry from our front lawn. One little chunky monkey was so petrified, all thoughts of his trike were dismissed when he took off for home – and yes, being the good person that I am I did walk it over.

Yeah we saw some of that action in our neck o’ the woods as well. I’m happy to report that the new patio cushions were only slightly damp four hours later.
